Even though there is a clear issue with gun control in America, the issue is related to the widespread belief that guns are "manly" or increase the amount of one's "manhood".
I believe that coloring all US guns pink or at least 90% pink on visible surfaces. This will deter some men from wanting to equip themselves with sun a dangerous weapon.
