No government official or politician should be exempted from being subject to any/all laws currently enforceable on the American people. To this effect, the harshest of all noncriminal penalties, fees, taxes, and restrictions placed on any one noncriminal group or member of American society should also be placed upon all politicians, lawmakers, and officials.
If politicians impose a 75% tax on any American, then politicians should be the first to pay the same 75% tax, regardless of whether the underlying income or financial requirements are met by said politicians. If a "gun free zone" is imposed anywhere in America, an equivalent area around that politician should also become a "gun free zone"; this principle should apply to all currently enforceable American laws, taxes, & fees.
