Require all voting parties of gun related laws to take a basic firearm course to understand what they are voting for.

Created by S.C. on January 16, 2013

Many of the recent and current debates on gun control are being stemmed from criticism by politicians that have never owned a firearm, never shot a firearm, and don't really understand the difference between them, such as single action, double action, semiautomatic, or fully automatic. They assume that if a gun is black, it must be an assault weapon. A few courses held by a private company, the military, secret service, or the NRA even, on both pistol and rifle basics, would educate our leaders before they vote based on the latest smearing media campaign. Let's make it mandatory before voting on the subject.
