The current welfare system has become a nationwide travesty that has been and is being horribly abused by people in every state that have the ability to work, and pay for their own food housing and healthcare.
It is a ridiculously easy program to abuse and it needs to be adjusted and reformed.
When I see welfare abusers everywhere with their smartphones, and nice cars, going to the store, walking in with NO difficulty, that can hear, see, walk, talk, and run... use their EBT card to buy a pack of gum and get $20 cash back, then turn around and buy a pack of cigarettes, or flavored "cigar" wraps while telling the person they are on the phone with, that they just got the cash they need to pick up some alcohol on their way to the party..... something needs to change.
Tax dollars at work...
