Any person(s) trying to apply for government aide should pass a drug test. if employers can do it, the government certainly could. It would be an excellent way to ensure that those incapable of working due to an addiction could receive a different form if aide, allowing then to become productive citizens again, leaving the programs such as food stamps better available.
