Unfortunately, we live in a time of great division. Indeed, Tens of Thousands of US Citizens - Teachers, Soldiers, Business Owners, Students, etc - have indicated their desire for their state to peacefully withdraw from the Union (which, by the way, the Sovereign States created). Rather than attempting to understand the many reasons for these sentiments in order to alleviate the situation, certain individuals have opted to create or sign a petition with the purpose of striping the Citizenship of their neighbors who hold these views.
