Require any and all corporations to pay full salary/wages and benefits to employees called for jury duty.

Created by J.R. on July 04, 2014

Corporations are now citizens, yet cannot serve as jurors in court, preventing corporations from fulfilling their civic duty. They should, however, support any employees called to serve on a jury with full wages and benefits for time served without penalty for time lost on the job. (One day on a jury or waiting to be selected as a juror is equal to one 8 hour day at work) This will alleviate the financial pressure placed on small households when the key provider is called away from work to serve on a jury. It will also allow corporations to fulfill some small part of their civic duty.
