require that any foreign entity requesting US troop presence carry a $10mil insurance policy for each soldier deployed

Created by B.G. on January 09, 2013

If US military presence is requested by a foreign entity, and due to this request troops are deployed to the required region, the requesting foreign entity will be required to carry a minimum US based $10 million death/dismemberment/disability insurance policy for each sailor/soldier sent to the region due to such request. If the foreign entity is unable to pay the premiums for such coverage yet Congress authorizes the deployment due to the request, the cost to cover the premiums will be split and bore personally by each Congressman voting YES to deploy the sailor/soldier. Military families should have more piece of mind that their family will be properly provided for in the unfortunate event that something happens to the service member while deployed to these regions!
