Require that any politician on a scientific committee have at least a BA in a scientific field not related to religion.

We petition the Federal Government to require that any person serving the government on a scientific committee, or other group that expressly regulates practices in the fields of science, space exploration, education, medicine, and technology have at least a BA in a field of science relevant to their position. We feel that current policy allows people who are uneducated in the ways of science to control events that are far beyond their understanding, and that this needs to change in order for scientific and economic progress to be made.
