We request that the automotive industry be required to implement automatic engagement of the headlight and taillight systems of all vehicles as soon as the vehicle is in gear.
There are too many accidents because drivers do not have lights on during low visibility or inclement weather even when required by law.
The headlights and taillights should be automatically turned on as soon as a vehicle goes into gear for better visibility to other drivers in all conditions day or night.
