1. Every gun sale including private should require registration, background check & title transfer much like sale of a car.
2. There should be an online government background check service designed for private citizen use that reports back a simple answer: "Allowed" or "Not Allowed".
3. Sale of a firearm should require ownership of the gun to be legally transferred with a copy of the background check report.
4. Gun owners should be required to get their guns inspected by licensed gun shops every year and report their current address.
5. Sale of a weapon without a current inspection should not be allowed.
6. Original sellers shall be responsible for any crime committed by the buyer if the owner did not follow the laws stated above.
