American citizens are becoming increasingly ignorant of the actual protections and guarantees of the US Consititution. They are being "educated" on their rights by extremists on both the right and left. Objective teaching of the origins of rights, language of the constitution, and Supreme Court decisions that define the meaning of those rights is needed so that our future voters actually know what the Constitution guarantees.
