require blindspot camera systems on all semi-trucks.

Created by J.M. on July 28, 2014

Semi-truck blind spots represent a dangerous area on our highways. Many newer passenger vehicles already feature blindspot monitoring of some kind. And after-market systems are available for semi-trucks today that use radar and cameras to monitor their very large and very dangerous blind spots. Making them mandatory would save lives and very likely lower costs for operators in the long run in the form of lower insurance premiums as a result of fewer accident claims.
