The fiscal cliff approaching, it is time that our politicians started sending out clear messages on what they are proposing. The American people need to know that they are finally putting a plan in place to fix this problem. We don't want a stop gap measure that will cause us to have this argument again next year (like 2011). No more finger pointing, it is now time to give some facts and working this out. Each side will show in detail what they are proposing. If Republicans are saying get the revenue from closing tax loopholes... which ones. if Democrats are asking for stimulus money, what will it be used for! These details should go on a website that everyone can access. The solution will come by disclosing the plans and discussing them.
