The (ADA) states that service animals are legally permitted to be alongside the service animal handler at any business, restaurant, and any other location that the general public is allowed to enter. Many restaurants fail to recognize the law proposed by the ADA regarding service animals. People with service animals can often be neglected and denied access to restaurants and can even be evicted from the building. This is illegal and denies access to people with disabilities by restricting their right to travel with their service animal. A mandated sticker would force businesses to recognize the right of a person with a service animal and can limit the denial of people with disabilities. People with service animals carry ID's and it is easy to distinguish pets from service animals.
