require cable tv to allow individual channel subscriptions/opt outs as an essential parental control without censorship.

Created by R.H. on August 27, 2013

MTV's "slutgate" has taken us over the edge of the cliff -consciously marketing oral and other sexual acts to children. The solution is simple... parents should be able to choose what they want broadcast into their home without simply disconnecting TV altogether or being 24 hour hall monitors. Requiring cable companies to allow customers to subscribe on a channel by channel basis is a bipartisan solution that is: 1) pro family - empowering parental control; 2) anti censorship - allowing artistic freedom; 3) pro competition - providing consumers with choices; 4) anti big government - empowering consumers rather than governmental control; 5) unifying for us as a nation - freedom of speech for liberals - pro family for conservatives - small government for libertarians.
