While the do not call list is greatly appreciated
and somewhat effective, and caller ID is helpful,
the Call spoofing provided
by companies such as http://www.telespoof.com/
allowing companies make calls changing the caller id,
and in some cases change the voice.
This makes it impossible to determine who is making the
call and untraceable. An example of this is Rachael or
Ann from Cardholder services
I petition that all Call spoofing maintain a log of each call and
provide an application for any law enforcement, or any government agency
to corrolate the number shown on the caller ID and the time, with the C
phone number and company initiating the call.
This will provide information for tracing unwanted marketing
calls, the source for bullying and prank calls as well as possible terror
