Require candidates for Federal office to pass the immigrant citizenship test to show knowledge of history/Constitution.

Created by F.N. on October 28, 2014

Candidates for Federal office take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Therefore, candidates should have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Constitution they pledge to uphold, including the Bill of Rights and all the amendments.

To that end, candidates for Federal office should be required to demonstrate knowledge of the Constitution and the history of the United States by being required to take and pass the United States Citizenship test before being considered for candidacy.
