Require cell phone companies to include parental controls on all cell phones sold in the US market.

Smart phone use by young children is on the rise and schools now require them in some cases. Unfortunately, the safeguards that we have on these devices are lacking any real protection. What apps there are available are weak and easily bypassed by kids.
What we need is parental controls on the actual phones. Cell phone companies and wireless providers should be providing these features as part of their services.
We know that many children are lured into situations online, and yet we have what amounts to a free pass on the cell phones that they use every day. If we are truly serious about protecting our kids, then parental controls on cell phones as well as computers should be an easy concept for people to understand.
