require a charitable donation for every lobbying dollar spent.

Lobbying can be a great way to bring up a good cause and increase publicity. Pro-bono lobbying and paid lobbying are not two of the same and the gap seems to be widening. Even though the number of corporations that lobby is very small, they are still the biggest overall spenders.

One study put the amount spent on lobbying in 2011 at over $30 billion.

$30 billion.

While lobbying is necessary in many cases, large corporations and large spenders have ruined it.

This is to petition the government of the United States of America to require that for every one dollar spent towards lobbying one dollar must also be spent to a specified charity.

If this was in place in 2011, over $30 billion would have gone to different charities.
