Require charter schools that accept federal dollars, must allow 13.5% special education students to attend.

Created by J.H. on November 16, 2012

Charter schools do not accept students with IEP’s, because they learn differently than other students. This is not fair because the point of a charter school is to teach student in a small group setting and special education students need that support. Charter schools are trying to give this privilege only to general education students. This affects families because student that are on IEP’s have to be switched to a different school because Charter schools don’t want them.
