It should be required that the child gives permission if a parent is enrolling the child in an extracurricular activity. If the child or children say no then the parent or guardian may not enroll the child and or children in the extra curricular activity. If the child is already enrolled in the extra curricular activity then the child may quit at any time. This is giving a little more freedom that minors greatly deserve.
