Being that a condition of the State of Texas' admission to the Union was that Texas reserved the right to secede at any time, should the State choose to; and
Being that Texas is a the greatest of all the states in the Union; and
Being that Texas is known around the globe for it wealth of human, educational, natural, economic/financial, and cultural resources; and
Being that El Paso has always been a drag on the the State of Texas; and
Being that El Paso will always be the armpit of the State of Texas; and
Being that many citizens of El Paso are eager to secede from Texas,
We request that a law be passed requiring the city of El Paso secede (be given away to whomever wishes to have them) should the State of Texas ever actually secede from the United States of America.
