Due to government action in requiring companies to provide healthier consumer products the use of artificial sweetener has grown rampant. The FDA apparently doesn't require clear labeling on products containing artificial sweetener. I demand that the FDA require labeling on products containing the artificial sweeteners.
There are unknown side effects of artificial sweeteners due to the lack of research and scrutiny of the use of them. I know people that can testify to being affected by the sweetener. Symptoms include severe headaches, upset stomach, diarrhea, dizziness, and stomach pain.
I want the FDA to do more research on how artificial sweetener affects the person and the side effects of consumption of it. I also want more emphasis and focus placed on moderation in the use of sugar.
