Require community service for all police officers across the country.

Require that all police officers perform community service in inner cities or poor, disadvantaged neighborhoods. Whether it is mentoring young men and women, serving meals to the homeless, tutoring students in after school programs, or volunteering at a drug rehabilitation facility just to give a few examples,law enforcement officers should have a greater and more positive presence and influence in communities across the nation. This has the potential to lower crime, and build a stronger bond between law enforcement and communities. The requirement can be at least 4 hours a week, spread across the week, whatever an officer's schedule permits in order for an officer to continue their employment within a police department.
