All companies from ore to store raise prices without showing justification such as legitimate manufacturing cost increases.
Typically these increases are to offset the cost of the government "helping" us again, like Obamacare, internet access for schools and libraries, or to pay executives more money. It rarely has anything to do with employee compensation or benefits, or justifiable cost increases. Example: Raising cost of a service that has been completely automated.
By requiring companies to report on price increases in financial reporting, people will have a better understanding of whether they should do business with that company.
This would encourage ethical executive compensation and reduce graft and boost economy when employees have more dollar equality.
