The primary purpose of this petition is address the unfairness of the computer rankings component of the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) Standings, particularly as such relates to this season's version of the Florida State University Seminoles (FSU), who have been disparately misranked in the BCS Standings since the current season's initial rankings, potentially causing the Florida State University and its Athletic Department to suffer irreparable economic harm.
The secondary purpose of this petition is to address the unabashed Southeastern Conference (SEC) bias that is rampant among current and prior BCS Standings, with the quintessential example of such bias being the University of Georgia Bulldog's (UGA) current No. 3-ranking, notwithstanding UGA's breathtakingly weak schedule.
