require Congress to exercise a "Casual Friday" in which Congresspeople can wear shorts and t-shirts while in session.

Created by J.B. on February 22, 2013

This petition is designed to create policy that allows Congress to more relatable to the American People through the creation of a "Congressional Casual Friday (CCF)" practice. Guidelines of decorum can still be adhered to but jeans and polos, at a minimum, will be authorized.

CCF will only be observed while in session and will extend to interaction with the national media. Exercising CCF may be waived when interacting with foreign dignitaries but not constituents, donors, or prospective donors.
