Require congress' healthcare plans to be approved by American ppl or make thm use plans they approved for general public

Congress members are offered nearly 300 comprehensive private health insurance plans. Our taxes pay 72-75 % of their yearly premiums. Info from:

The average American family, if offered insurance, has a similar premium, but private employers pay much less of the premium. Deductibles are higher for American families and copays rise each year. Info from:

I propose that we ask congress to disclose the terms of their plans, and subject them to approval of the American people. If unapproved by majority vote (not electoral smoke and mirrors), Congress should be required to use, for their own families, whichever healthcare reform plan they approve for the general public
