Require Congress to live in their District 75% of the time

Created by E.H. on March 28, 2014

The congress should be required to live in the district they represent 75% of the time. Currently congressmen have to keep a dual residence in both Washington and their home district. This leads to congressmen living in their office, corruption due to finical need, and them losing touch with the people they represent.

With current teleconferencing, web conferencing, and video conferencing this no long needed. Meetings and other congressional activity could be accomplished remote from their home district .

They only meet in person in Washington no more that one week a month All other meetings, etc should take place virtually.

This allow congressmen to stay in touch with the people the represent and also reduce corruption.
