We call upon the president to use is executive powers to require congress to meet the mid October deadline set by the treasury for the debt limit. Either through the use of an executive order that would require congress to meet this deadline or face some form of consequences or to use the of the District of Columbia national guard unit to institute a house arrest upon Capitol Hill, that will only be lifted if congress passes all required bills needed to keep the country running. The president can legally use either executive action or the DC national guard because if congress fails in their duties to compromise it will cause irreparable damage to our economy and our nation, this could lead civil unrest due to this issue as well as the various scandals and world events that are occurring.
