If any government shutdown occurs because our representatives in office cannot do their job, they simply should not be paid until the issue is resolved.
Our Congress should be the first government paychecks to be stopped. (including all staff members).
The US Congress already receives FAR more salary & benefits than 90% of any average american. NO pay for bad performance is the most important motivational tool "We The People" can use to motivate our public servants to do their job.
