require congress to work a full work schedule like all americans and NOT be given 239 days off in the year.

We pay the congressmen and women a very large wage only to find that they can arbitrarily schedule themselves for a measly 126 days of the year with 256 days off. What if all americans went to work for only a third of a year? Our employers would fire us and I think for the pay they are getting the congressmen/wormen should be held to the same standard. Maybe more would get done if they were actually there to work.
