Require congressional members work five days a week(60 hours) and held to the same standards as all other Americans.

Created by L.D. on October 23, 2014

Congressional members should be required to work five days a week (minimum of 60 hours) and held to the same standards as all other Americans. They work at the most four days and take more time off than they seem to be working for the American people. They haven't been held to the same standards as the general public. The general public opinion is that they haven't done much for the past two terms. More would be accomplished if they were made to work normal work hours as the majority of the American work force. If congressional members aren't competent and cannot work for the American public's satisfaction, they should be given a pay reduction equal to the percentage of the public's dissatisfaction.
