Every year, we consumers are entitled to a free copy of our credit report from all three agencies. However, if you want to receive your credit score, you must pay each agencies a fee. I think this is unfair. The credit report is incomplete if we are not aware of the credit score. The point of the free credit report is to allow the consumer access to the information credit-granting agencies are using to make credit determinations. However, most credit-granting agencies look at the credit score more than the credit report.
