To counter the petition banning Creationism and Intelligent Design from the classroom. Evolution is still only a theory and not settled science. In all the years since darwin there has been no conclusive scientific proof that evolution is the only way for complex life forms to manifest in nature or prove that an "intelligence" is not involved in the evolution process.
Creationism and Intelligent design are both viable scientific theories to explain the development and existence of complex life forms. When scientifically examining a question of nature all rational theories must be examined regardless of personal feelings.
