Require credit score be included in the annual free credit report.

Created by C.E. on February 14, 2013

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to provide individuals with a free copy of their credit report, at their request, once every 12 months. This report offers detailed information on an individual's credit history, however it is lacking one significant element - the credit score. An individual's credit score is used by lenders to determine their credit worthiness. Consumers should not have to pay to view their credit score when it is such an important aspect of their financial lives.

Require that an individual's credit score be included in the annual free credit reports.
