Non compliance with police commands forces police to use physical force to subdue criminals and others who would not comply with reasonable and lawful requests. This endangers all of us, both lawful and lawless alike. Lawful citizens comply as instructed by law officers without threatening, abusing, or verbally harassing the officer. This petition requests that you use your executive power and influence to demand that criminals and others be required to respond to law enforcement officers in a polite and respectful manor. This petition also requests that law enforcement respond in the same manor in which they are addressed.
