require crisis pregnancy centers to provide potential clients with accurate medical information

Created by M.T. on April 27, 2016

Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) often employ non-medical professionals who give out false information, increasing the negative stigma surrounding abortion. They influence a woman’s decision she makes about her own body and her own health. Women trust these centers because they claim to be working for women, when they have an entirely different agenda.

We propose to change health care policy so that these CPCs are required to inform their potential patients when they do not employ medical professionals. We would also like CPCs to be required to give out accurate medical information to their patients. A woman deserves the right to be given accurate information by medical professionals when it is an issue that concerns her health.
