Require cyclists to use bike paths along roads where they cannot meet the speed limit.

Created by C.G. on February 21, 2013

When I am a driver i hate pedestrians, when I am a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what, I always hate cyclists. However, with all kidding aside, when a cyclist is cycling in the middle of a busy road puts both the driver and the cyclists in danger. I propose that cyclists only be allowed the share the road if they can comply with the speed limit otherwise they must use the bike path. If there is not a bike path and the road does not have a shoulder one of the two must be built.
In 2009 alone 51,000 cyclists were injured and 630 were killed. The proper usage of the bike path will decrease this number and make all of us much happier.
