Once again we see that local District Attorneys (D/A) can not be trusted to REALLY try to get a case to go to trial when someone dies at the hands of the police with the same effort that they use to get a case go to trial when there is a death at the hands of a civilian.
This is because the D/A has to work closely with local & state law enforcement officers, in order to get convictions - so its a conflict of interest for the D/A to handle a case of a police shooting, or death of a civilian caused by the police.
So, the Dept of Justice should step in and handle the presentation to the Grand Jury of ALL deaths at the hands of the Police to make sure the Police have to go to trial when a civilian dies so there is a hope of civilians getting JUSTICE when they are killed by the police.
