Require the Dept of Education to provide an alarm device for teachers or install an emergency button on teachers desks.

In light of the recent event in Newtown, Connecticut, please require the Department of Education, as well as all levels of private and public school to fund and provide an emergency hand held alert device to educators and school administrative staff so that teachers and their staff can set an alarm, as well as an alert to the nearest police departments, fire departments and first responders in case of an emergency. A similar alert or alarm system device can also be installed in each teacher's desk and desks of educators staff.
