American politics has been distorted by the effects of large contributions. When these are made by government contractors, there is at least the appearance of conflict of interest. Mr. President, please sign an Executive Order requiring disclosure of political contributions by all bidders for, or recipient of, large contracts.
This does not conflict with Citizens United, because it does not bar contributions, but only requires transparency.
