Require DNA tagging on all firearms sold within the United States

To aid in the prosecution of criminals and unlicensed dealers of firearms, We the People demand that ALL firearms sold and manufactured within the United States be marked using SigNature DNA. The Defense Logistics Agency has mandated the use of this technology in all microcircuits within their supply chain, and have already reduced the amount of counterfeit goods within. If our government were to require firearms to be marked with this technology, law enforcement would be able to track where a gun was sold from instantaneously, which could drastically reduce the number of illegal sales that take place each year. We do not want to limit gun rights, but we do want to take these guns out of the hands of criminals, and the best way to do that is to make dealers and manufacturers accountable
