We desperately need to reform the Welfare system in America. I propose that we start by requiring a drug test to anyone seeking a welfare check. People who are on drugs do not work, because they are required to take a drug test to begin working. So instead they seek Welfare/SSI/ or unemployment as a way to receive an income. It would only make sense to refuse these resources to people who are actively using recreational drugs.
This will not only relieve our taxpayers that can actually hold a job and pay those who cannot, but it will boost the amount of people looking for a job. Take away the handouts to people who do not abide by the law.
