We beleive that the government should require drugs testing for all persons receiving government assistance.
When an person applies for a job they are required to be willing to submit to drug testing, a criminal background check & a credit check.If an person is in need of government assistance then at the least they should be required to submit to a drug test.
If an person fails a drug test they should be offered a chance to go to rehab and if they refuse they should be denied any benefits for a period of 1 year at which time they can reapply for benefits; if the person fails the 2nd drug test the should be denied benefits for a period of 5 years. A final drug test will be given after the 5 year mark & at that point should the person fail that test they will never be allowed any assistance
