Require Drug/Alcohol Tests for Shooting Suspects, Law Enforcement/Security Officers and Legal/Financial Decision Makers

All law enforcement officers, private security personnel with licensed firearms, attorneys, judges, lobbyists, corporate officers and board members of publicly traded companies,licensed financial professionals, prison guards, elected officials and federal senior executive staff should be subject to mandatory periodic, postmortem and random testing for illegal drug use, average alcohol consumption and use of prescription substances that might affect judgment with results reported to federal authories. Similar tests should be required of any shooter involved in an incident for which a police report is filed. Results for elected officials and corporate officers/board members should be public. Excessive substance use among LEO and Decision Makers is a safety hazard and national disgrace.
