Require each member of the Electoral College to read Federalist Paper 68 and receive an ethics lesson prior to 12/19.

Federalist Paper number 68 speaks to the responsibility of the Electors to stop a candidate with “Talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity” from becoming President. In essence, they have a legal and constitutional responsibility to stop a demagogue—a tyrannical mass leader who preys on our prejudices—from becoming President. In fact, it is their primary purpose. They are supposed to step in and add rational thought to the election. When a candidate uses fear and hate to trick the electorate the members of the Electoral College are responsible to fix it. Ask them to read the paper that was used to get the constitution ratified prior to voting. It was an analysis of the constitution written by the men who helped write the constitution.
