Although many perishable products already include an easy to find and read sell by / use by date on the packaging, there are many, many others that do not. Some are either extremely difficult to find, and either in tiny print or in a color that is difficult to read, or else use a special code that is impossible to decipher. This would require that all packaged perishable product have an easily readable sell by / use by date that is as equally easy to find. The date should be standard across the board as such: MM/DD/YY
Let's put consumers' minds at ease and make retail rotation and outdate procedures simpler by enacting this into law.
