Require the elderly of 70+ years of age to retake the driver examination

Created by M.N. on February 11, 2014

Everyone who has a valid drivers license understands the frustration and concerns of driving behind an elderly person. Whether its driving under the speed limit or not being able to make a turn or stay within the yellow lines provided on the road. I believe once someone turns 70 they should be required to be re-examined to see if they are still eligible to operate a vehicle. This is not just for the safety of other drivers on the road, It's also for their own safety. Reaction time, sight, and judgement all decrease as you become older and I think it is alarming that some older folks are even allowed to drive recklessly on the road.
